Paper Eagles is a music project featuring Ted James Butler, long time friend and collaborator Reuben Fortes (Mysticism & Logic, Vision of Visions), Chris Rosenquest (Zebras) and Adam Tucker. These songs were all written before any plans to actually start a band had solidified, yet proved to be the easiest tracks to adapt to the live setting.

Illusion was originally recorded in my Wayland Square apartment in 2006 as a planned follow up to The Bridges of Providence County. It’s b-side, I See You was written and originally recorded back in 2000. The song was finally penned and realized in 2001 while on a 9 month recording hiatus in NH. It’s 2006 mix can be found here.
